10 Manage calls
10.3 Call barring
This network service allows you to restrict the dialling and receiving of predetermined types of calls to limit the use of your telephone.
To access these subscription services a private key is required. Check the availability of this service with your operator.
Select the Call Barring (3) option in the information menu —Manage calls
(5)—. You can select one of the restriction options that will be stated
in the following order:
Outgoing calls (1): Prohibits all outgoing calls.
Outgoing international calls (2): Prohibits outgoing international
calls from being made.
Outgoing internatinoal calls except on own network (3): Prohibits
all international calls except those going to your own country from being made.
Incoming calls (4): Prohibits all incoming calls
Incoming calls in roaming (5): Prohibits all incoming calls
in roaming.
Use the navigate by menu keys to select one of the available options and press
the Accept key
to select the desired option.
For each of the restriction options described, you can activate (1), deactivate
(2), or check the status (3) of the associated restrictions. Enter in the required
key (which comes with your subscription to this service) and press Accept
.
This process may take a few seconds. Immediately afterward, you will be informed
of the status of the restrictions.
Along with the above call restriction options, it is also possible to cancel
all restrictions and change your access key:
Cancel all restrictions(6): Select this option to cancel all
the restrictions activated.
Change password (7). To change the access key to your call
restriction service, select this option by pressing the Accept key
.
Your phone will ask you to enter in your current code, and press Accept
. You will then be asked to enter in your new key. Enter it in a second time
and press Accept
.
You will hear a message that will confirm the changing of the key.
