3 Turning the Phone On and Off
3.2 Entering In the Pin
Once the phone is turned on, you will hear the message Insert PIN code.
Enter in the PIN associated with your SIM card using the alphanumeric keypad.
Once entered, press Accept
.
If the PIN is correct, you will hear an accept tone. If the PIN has not been entered in correctly, you will be asked to re-enter the PIN.
If you incorrectly enter in the PIN three times in a row, the SIM card will
lock and it will inform you of this by saying PIN locked. To
unlock the SIM card, you will be asked to enter in the PUK (Personal Unlocking
Key) code.
The registration of the phone in the network will take a few seconds, after
which your phone will search for a network. Once a network has been located,
your phone will be ready to send and receive calls, which is to say, in STANDBY
mode.
During this time the telephone will work in private mode (speaker low, hands-free deactivated). Once logging on to the network is finished, it is possible to change to hands free mode by pressing the Hands-Free key
.

If you have forgotten or you do not know your PIN code, check the phone information or contact your operator. Do not leave the PIN code near the telephone and keep your SIM card and phone in safe place when you are not using them. |
