6.1 Find and Call
6.1.1 Alphanumeric Search
If you access the phone book through the navigation menu, the search will be performed alphabetically, starting with the first contact that matches with the characters entered. Your phone will ask you to Write name. Use the alphanumeric keypad to enter in a search string and press Accept 
to begin the search.
Various entries can come up for any particular search string. Use the navigation keys to hear the various contacts. Press Accept to access the numbers associated with the contact you are searching for.
Pressing the keys ( + number between 2 and 9) from the standby mode will give you quick access to the Find and callfunction in alphabetical order.
Examples:
+ 2 > gives you access to the first contact whose entry begins with the letter A. Press 2 again to get B and so on.
+ 3 > gives you access to the first contact whose entry
begins with the letter D. Press 3 again to
advance to E and so on.
