7.3 Read Messages
When you receive a text message, your phone will emit a tone indicating that a new message has been received.
To read the pending message, go to the Messages (2)/Read Messages (3) menu. If the message is from a contact stored in your phone book, this contact’s name will be read, along with the time and date the SMS was received. This will done before the message is read. Select the message you wish to read from the list and press Accept 
.
Once the message is read, press Cancel 
to leave the menu and read the message later, or Accept to select from one of the following options: Delete (1) or Forward (2).
Use the available Delete all option at the beginning of the menu to delete all
received messages.
