8.3 Locks
8.3.2 Lock the telephone
This lock protects the phone against unauthorized use. This option is not enabled when the phone is purchased.
To activate this option you must change the security 8 digits key set at the factory (00000000), to any private key. If you activate the phone lock, this will ask the unlock key before the PIN request every time you change the SIM card. Go to Configuration (3)/Locks (3)/Phone Lock (2)and you will be able to check the status of the phone and to change the key.
Protection (1): You can choose one of the following lock status of the phone: Activated or Deactivated. With the navigation keys choose one of the previous options and press Accept 
. When you wish to activate the lock, the telephone will ask for the security key. Enter it in and press Accept . You will hear the message Phone locked.
Change the lock key (2): (To modify the lock key choose this option). The telephone will ask the old key. Enter it and press Accept . Enter the new key and press Accept again. Re-enter the new key and press Accept . You will hear a message telling you that the key has been changed.
